Deputies attempted to make contact with the driver of a green Pontiac Grand Prix, but the male driver refused to cooperate before leaving the scene and traveling eastbound on IL Rte. On at approximately 1513 hours Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 8,000 block of S. Ogle County was assisted by Illinois State Police District One. Larson was subsequently transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond. Larson was issued citations for Reckless Driving, Speeding, Improper Lane Usage and Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle. The pursuit came to rest at mile marker 112, at which time the driver, identified as Patrick Larson, age 22 of Rochelle was placed under arrest for Aggravated Fleeing to Elude a Peace Officer. The offending vehicle failed to stop, at which time Deputies pursued the vehicle. On 9/2/22 at approximately 0118 hours, Ogle County Deputies attempted to conduct a traffic stop on I-39 near mile marker 105.
